Background Check process:

1)    Little League background check – completed by JDP

a.     Background checks for this are good for 1 year from the “Date Approved”. Check the google sheet (link on sbll.net) to see if there is current approval listed.

b.     Send us name and email address. Email should go to [email protected]

c.     Email will be sent to gather personal information (Email is from [email protected]and shows as South Beaches Little League)

d.     We will be notified once it is complete and will add to the list posted on SBLL.NET.

2)    Brevard County background check – completed by AUE

a.     Brevard County requires this additional background check for all recreation partner volunteers and will be requiring all volunteers to wear a badge at the fields to identify that they have been approved. Background checks are good for 5 years. If they are on the list, then county background check has been completed and volunteer can go get their badge. Background checks for the schools are not transferred and do not meet the requirements.

b.     Send us name (legal name) and email address to get “coupon code”. Email should go to [email protected]

c.     We will send coupon code back and volunteer will be required to go get fingerprints from AUE to have background check complete

d.     Once background check has been complete, volunteer will need to contact Ron Davis to get their “badge”. Ron is the Athletics Program Coordinator for Brevard County Parks & Rec. [email protected] 321-255-4400

e.     County may set up a day at Flutie to come complete the badging process, but volunteers may also get direct from Ron Davis
